My Microsoft Outlook calendar setup allows the scheduling of meetings and appointments beginning and ending on the hour and half-hour only. Is there a way to override or reset that?

Set your cursor on the time and type in whatever start/end times you want. It works on mine, anyway.

Right click on the left column (shows time) and select your time interval, ranging from 60 mins to 5 mins (30 mins is default). :D
