CAS membership directory

Anybody out there willing to let me borrow their CAS membership password and user name to browse the directory???

Try the SOA website. The entire AAA directory (both life and P&C) is available there without a password. Don't ask me why the CAS insists on keeping their version secret.

(I think) because the CAS directory contains snail and email addresses in addition to the name and credentials that are available from the AAA directory.

The SOA directory contains snail and e-mail addresses as well (as long as the member agrees to their publication, which most do.)

It contains the SOA membership, CAS membership, AAA and EAs, and is searchable by designation, location, specialty, etc. so you should be able to get all you need there.

That's only true if you have a CAS designation (ACAS, FCAS). If you are an Affiliate Member of the CAS but NOT in the Academy or SOA, you won't be there. :D
