A coworker of mine asked for a recommendation. Does anyone have a favorite? (a few words about what you liked about the seminar might help too) Thanks!

I also enjoyed the NEAS seminar, but it's all because of Prof Batten. I would strongly recommend attending one of his seminars - he teaches the interest theory portion. His sole focus is on helping us pass the exam, and he is a pro at doing this efficiently and effectively. He gives us lots of problems and a good understanding of the techniques. Sometimes he glosses over the most complicated concepts a little, but that is in line with his teaching strategy. It's not bad to figure those couple things out once you can do everything else with diagrams and the calculator.
I have never heard a bad thing about Batten, and I am glad to have acted on the recommendation of several colleagues.
The other two instructors (Smith and Blumsohn) were fine, but didn't seem exceptional, though this was my first seminar so I don't have anything to compare to. I recommend neither for or against them.
