Guess it is time to go through the old exams and figure out which questions might be fair game for CSP?

I have a study marathon coming Monday. (Didn't mean to plan it that way, but I have 8 hrs of company time + 4 hrs of personal time that day.) I'll need something to break up the monotony, so I may spend some time on this. I'll post what I come up with if you all will come back and say yay or nay. Any takers?

I'm in.

Given that I've only gotten through about 1/4 - 1/3 of the material, I'm in for as much as I know about the material. I'll be more help as time goes on.

Sure. I've read almost everything but the chapters from "Fundamentals of Retiree Group Benefits" -- not that I really understand it, yet.

I'll be in for it... Has anyone used the google spreadsheet function? What do you think about making a public spreadsheet that we can all view and update. That way we don't have to scroll through posts to find the most recent info, etc.

I just started a template, but if anyone has more experience they should probably 'host' the spreadsheet. If not I'll figure out how to work this....

I have actually gone through the 2003 exam already. Once I complete the GRASP problem set (this weekend) I would be happy to go through the 2004-2006 and post my thoughts on which problems are applicable.

I'm def in too!
I was nervous about not having enough sample problems for this exam but I think that with the Grasp problem set and the old exams it should be ok!

yay to studying (ok I think I'm just going crazy)

Also, does anyone know how many hours we are supposed to study for this exam (realistically???)

I'm just going by what my company provides and what they expect. 2 hrs of personal time for every 1 hr of company time. That is why I started in November.

That sounds about appropriate. I am aiming for about 500... we'll see how that goes!

James Madison did here in this post:

I am going to try and look at it too and see if there are any to add. I know problem 7 from the 2006 exam is definately relavent as I have been discussing the solution with someone this past week.
