It sure does seem dead in here, but anyway I decided to throw my name in here as someone that is taking the CSP-RU exam in May. A little background:
I have never taken Course 8 before or even an essay exam. I have about 7-8 years of experience in the retirement consulting field so I think that will help somewhat for this exam. I just finished the FAP 1 Exam on Feb. 28 and just started studying so I am way behind the curve on studying. But I am hoping with a little determination I can get past this exam.
I work for a large consulting firm in one of their larger offices so usually there's plenty of people taking exams, but I'm the only one taking this exam this sitting. I think that the # people sitting for thisexam is going to be really small.
So I started off by reading the Private Pensions book which I think has been good so far. I am hoping I can just get through all the material by the time of the exam. I will check back in frequently and hoepfully offer whatever help I can and get a few pointers myself.
But I sure do hope the activity on this board picks up a little...
