IMHO, it's much better than the CAS forum in terms of format, ease of posting, speed, etc.

The CAS board has a larger number of posts, but things will pick up here in time.

It's like I told Glenn, "if you build it, people will come." Well, I didn't actually tell him that .... but I thought it.

Both boards have some goods and bads. I like this format as much as any I've seen though.

Just for the record, the "Pseudolus" posting here is not the same person as the "Pseudolus" who posts to the CAS Water Cooler. I am flattered, though, by the hommage. If anyone is interested enough to doubt me, check the email address listed in my profile.

As for your email, I don't believe this board sends a verification of password. You do need to put in an email, but I don't believe you get a message back.

Furthermore, nobody really owns a nickname. I use Pseudolus on several boards. I try to snatch it up quickly on all actuarial boards, because I like it.

Back to the discussion, I post a ton on the CAS board, and this one is definitely faster.

Actually, I just checked the email I registered under, and I did get a message. It basically just confirmed the password I selected, and said save it so you won’t forget.

Anyway, nobody owns a nickname, but I use this one quite frequently on various life/health, and P/C bulletin boards.
