You are all obviously idiots. If you had a six-pack of brain cells, you would know that I am right.

OK, who dipped their b*lls in EB's punch bowl?

I suggest establishing a Troll of the Week Award.

I nominate snotty for this week!

p.p.s. there's another term in cyberchat that I'm unfamiliar with as well: "flirt thread." What does this mean?

Flora, can ya help me out?

Love, Fauna

Dear Sir Blackadder,
Thank you for the recognition. Tracy may be the Queen but you, and a few others, are the House of Lords and Parliament. This would be an empty Queendom without you providing its soul.

I am not a natural troll. Accurate trolling takes skill and understanding of the environment one is trolling. Most trolls are children looking for attention, and it's readily obvious from the content of their efforts. I've lurked, posted and trolled on this forum and many others for years. This is the first time I've made a concerted effort at "teaching a lesson." I planned on running snotty through the week, I'll stop.

Trolling, as you know, is rarely beneficial. It lowers the quality of a forum's content and eventually destroys the board, driving away the posters who wish to discuss topics in a sane and rational manner. The troll term has been thrown around way too much lately. Once posters start calling each other "Troll" the curse sets in and many become trolls. Hopefully, my limited attempt at trollish disruption will serve as an example for others as to what a trollish board feels like.

"All Trolls, all the Time" exactly what this forum, or at least parts of this forum should avoid. I am not an actuary and have not been associated with the profession for years. I visit this wonderful Queendom for its discussions of topics by well-educated individuals. There is nothing quite like the mix of intelligence, education and arrogance of an actuary, a room full is a joy to watch.

There is only one treatment for trolls - Ignore them. (Yes, that includes me.) When you're hot on a subject, and you feel you're getting trolled and you need to respond, a simple repost request works best. "Please restate in a less confrontational manner."

All jokes are old and insults reflect. Prior to dropping this trollish mask, I take a last swipe at AB and BPC - stop with the pro-Israeli propaganda already, there's more to life than "what's good for the Jews." May I suggest topics concerning what's going on in Sudan and Central Africa.

The mask falls to the floor with a clatter, head low, I slink off to lurk in the darkness, wiping my nose, snotty no more.

ODB, short for Old Dirty b******, is a member of the Wu Tang Clan...nothing too deep.

I choose it because noone ever gets it when I use the name TTNOGUARTT. ("t"s in front, "t"s on the end, "noguar"...'NoGuar' in "t"s..."No Guarantees")

Now howsabout that smooch? <pucker>

can traci do some type of username-linked censorship function? i could go all obiwan and write the algorithm or a vba version of it but it's really simple.

if the letters "wh" appear in a post and are followed by a bunch of "o"'s (bunch >=3), then replace the "o"'s by "*"'s if username <> the nature boy.

don't hesitate to call me in my limo if you need further information.

whoooooooooo

don't make it case sensitive - just in case, even if i never use caps.

ODB ... ,

<pedantry>
As Carlin recalled (from a letter he received from an English teacher),#3 and #6 are not distinct entries.
