Aon Risk Consultants is hiring right now. I am not a manager, but a very satisfied employee. I know we are definitely interested in entry- or low-exam level CAS students, and may also be interested in another ACAS or FCAS. We are particularly looking to hire on the East Coast but might place someone in one of our other offices if the fit was right.

We have actuaries in NYC, Princeton NJ, Philly, Conshohocken PA, Baltimore, and Columbia MD. (plus several others across the country but this is the region we would most like to add to at this time) I believe we would most prefer to place in the MD offices, with the PA offices as second choice.

What would the work be like for an ACAS/FCAS? Heavy emphasis on sales? How much travel would you expect?

It strikes me as a bit odd that a "very satisfied employee" would start a thread such as this. What is this person's motivation? Do they desperately want people to be hired? Does s/he not trust those who are doing the hiring? I guess I can't imagine starting this thread, so I'm wondering why someone would.
