I think I am going crazy.

In the last few days, I swear that there have been several instances of "post-transport" on this forum. If you are not familiar with this phenomenon (which is likely, since I made it up), it is when you read a thread to the last post and leave the board. Later, you see a new post has been added to the thread (thanks to that red folder icon), so you open the thread. Within it, you find new posts included between two previously read posts, as if it was magically transported to that spot!

What's going on?!!

I fear that I am on a one way trip to the funny barn (insanity does run in the family). If I start raving about Social Security, Mormons, and Scientologist blowjobs, please put me out of my misery.

I think I've seen the same thing.

This could be explained by the phpBB software recording the time of a post only out to the minute, truncating off any seconds. Two posts made in the same minute might not get sorted in the correct order, perhaps ending up with the newest post in second place, after a slightly older post (with the same timestamp).

I've only seen this happen with same-minute posts. If you're seeing this at other times, call you doctor, acupuncturist, or other health-care provider.

Will DDA stand up bertuaryDidn't you read my post? Yes, I will stand up anyone I (don't) go with because I have a real party to go to that night. Why do you think looks didn't matter? However, I may drag myself over to the informal on Monday morning to pick up some leftovers (wink wink!). Mulan, you would have been my first choice! If bertuary wants to be my date, that's fine. She (can just complain all night how I stood her up. There's one at every party.

Too bad I will miss it. I've heard rumors that this will be the place where we officially get rid of, I mean, trade Andy for Mulan. Does this mean Andy will be banished?

Oh, and thanks for confirming that I am not totally insane, only partially.
