If you actual read the post you quoted, you'd see that I didn't say I thought it was funny. Do you normally pass on news to your entire department upon reading ONE WORD? You didn't even have to actually open the thread, just take the SINGLE SECOND of your time to hover your mouse. WAH, playing tricks isn't funny! I'll reiterate this, if I had simply left just the exclamation point off of my thread title, any sliver of claim for the thread actually to have results enclosed is eliminated - it's just entitled "Results". They would be shut down for violating the constitution and it's right for a free and independant media. Maybe you should learn something about history before shooting off your mouth.

It's pretty well known that falsely posting a results thread is not tolerated in the professional side of the forums. Whether you'll be banned ofr a first offense is up to the mods, and unlikely, but I suspect the title will be changed.

Let the record show, I am sorry. However, all I did was pre-post the link with a single, poorly punctuated word, where thread preview would have completely disclosed reality. Until someone can show me any reasonable proof that, 1) I actually tried real hard to fool anyone, and 2) that I was sitting back giggling at my masterpiece of deception, I'll be damned if I'm going to trip over myself with regret like I just brought down the stock exchange. This is typical internet overreaction, where people - for some reason - find it easy to just assume the worst in people and their words. Personally, I find it much easier to do the opposite, until people prove me wrong. That's just me.

UD, you're completely irrational. To equate the title "Results!" to "President Bush Shot and Killed" is insane, to say the least. However, your article having him lying in a pool of blood is analogous to my thread preview, which clearly said they weren't out, is completely apples to oranges. As WW pointed out, you have a reasonable amount of blame to take yourself, which you have yet to do. Move on.

I'm willing to give you the benefit of the doubt, but results are taken very seriously in the professional section. If you really want to post a link to where they will be, that's fine, but you have to be clear in the thread title that results aren't actually out yet.
