Macro final exam

Anyone did the test today?
I thought it is hard, at least harder than the practice exam.
After taking the micro one earlier this week, I took for granted that the NEAS exams are super easy. Seems like I was wrong.

Yeah, that was hard. Only very few questions were in any way similar to the practice exams or the illustrative test questions.

anyone has problem with the question calculating natural unemployment rate? my result is 31% (job separation rate = 10%, job finding rate = 45%/2 = 22.5%, unemployment rate = jsr/(jsr+jfr) ), but it was not in any of the options.

I thought it was tough too, and there were a couple where I *still* don't see where the answer came from. Weird.

I had the same thing. The weird thing is, if you try using *any* of the answers for the question above as the job finding rate, *none* of the answers come out as one of the choices! I'm guessing that question must be faulty.

For the JFR question you are referring to, I think the question asked what the unemployment rate would be next year, not what is the new natural unemployment rate.

I don't remember details, but for all the unemployment questions, I was able to get an answer.
