Does anyone have any advice about where the best C3 seminar might be? The neas seminar is really early (March 3rd) so I think I'll probably go to the Austin Texas seminar (April 3rd - Dr. Daniel). Does anyone know anything about these, or any other, good seminars? Any input would be great.
I would definitely advise against going to the early NEAS seminar only b/c I did it and it didn't pay off for me the first time around. You need to cover alot of material or at least look at all the material before going to a seminar to get the most out of it. On the other hand, Batten/Mahler is probably the best combination out there. I took good notes and it really helped me the second time around which was this past sitting. I feel pretty good about passing. So, if you can push hard and cover the material beforehand, then go, otherwise look into other seminars such as the Texas one you're talking about. I don't know much about it though. Maybe even look into just ordering Mahler's guides and head to a Georgia State Seminar with Batten. He's phenomenal.

Arch solutions (http://www.archactuarial.com) is having a seminar in Chicago April 11. They are newer, but have some pretty good credentials. The instructor has been answering course 3 questions on this forum.

Thanks guys... I'm looking into the GSU seminars now. I've heard that Batten is really good from a lot of people. Does anyone know anything about any of the other 3 profs teaching C3 at GSU in the spring? Or even the course material in general, does anyone know how good it is?
