As the Kansas City Chiefs take the field in a little less than six weeks, scan the team for a local Camdenton High School graduate. No, not dressed in full football pads and the blazing red and yellow jersey, but on the sidelines as part of the 2007-2008 cheerleading squad.

'I think people are going to be really surprised when they know that I'm on the team,' said Sarah Osborne, known as Sarah Hymes when she was a student at Camdenton.

In November, Osborne takes her seventh actuary exam, leaving her with one more test to take before becoming fully licensed.

it will be weird if you are a KC fan, with your actuary buddy, and mention "check out that fellow down there with the cheerleaders. hot!" at a football game.

That kinda thing can get your butt kicked.

the Montreal Alouettes had 3 last year.. :shrug:

not sure if they're still around this year, or if they qualify as :qunq:professional:qunq: cheerleaders

they aren't hot. i could see how the first one is, but I'm not into her type of body build.

none of the Chiefs cheerleaders are that hot. It's kind of depressing really.

It's all in the perception of "hot" I think...I find them very attractive myself...

Don't get me wrong, I'd let them show me their pom-poms IYKWIM, but I'm just saying that I really expect more out of cheerleaders. They are no where near the hottest squad in the league.

KC isn't that big of an area, and most attractive people leave the first chance they get. To be with more of their own kind.

I think I want to start a non-profit organization to turn more actuarial chicks into cheerleaders. We need to start early in high school.

I would call it "Raising Future Cheerleaders". Who's with me???

It's really a win-win-win situation, because it will help to eliminate the stereotype of the cheerleader as an airhead.

Unless they start getting "3"s and "4"s and whatnot on their actuarial exams. :judge:

looks that way... From THIS (http://www.actuary.ca/actuarial_discussion_forum/showthread.php?t=83240) thread it seems the third one was Julie #3. This year's squad only has 2 Julies. :cry:
