I sat for 8M in the fall of 2005. I didn't pass then. I was thinking about sitting for the DP exam in November. Does the DP exam cover the same material that the old 8M did?
What material does the CSP exam cover? The same stuff as the old exam 5 or 6????

I can't say this list is accurate, but I believe this is the material that was on 8M and is now on DP. I think there about 10 readings from old Course 5, so that leaves the remaining 80 or so readings as new. Again, this is just what I was able to map by looking at the old syllabus when I began studying.

Thanks Badger484. Do you know what the other FSA exam covers? The exam offered in the Spring? Is it like the old course 5 or 6? or something totally new?

It is a pretty similar mix to DP with some from old courses 5 and 6, some from old 8M, with the majority being new material.

ksquared,
I think you’ll find that the old 8M has more in common with DP (the November fellowship exam) than it does with CSP (the May fellowship exam).

Thanks! I'm debating about sitting for the DP this fall. In the fall of 2005, I took the old Course 8M. I failed and I think I got a 3 or a 4. Anyway, I'm trying to figure out if 3 months of preparation will be enough.
