I did -- a one-pager. I mirrored my PD report after the Course 7 report. However, the excerpt from an approved project (Life area) does not include an executive summary. I figured better safe than sorry.

Same here. My PD project paper will end up about 55 pages before it's all over with. I want to make sure I cover all the bases and cover them adequately. I also want to make sure I have enough theoretical and empirical analysis to support my argument. I agree that it's better safe than sorry.

the executive summary in course 7 always seemed redundant to the paper since it summarized what you just said but probably necessary.

The idea behind the executive summary is to have a summary that has the same kind and amount of "punch" as the rest of the paper. For a lot of people, the ES is the only part of the paper that they'll read since they're either too busy or too lazy to read the rest of it.

Executive Summary was stressed on Modules 1-5 end of module exercises.
For PD, I didn't have to do a project because I had 20 credits in transition. For my write-ups for the other 30 credits, I included a summary at the beginning of each write-up, but didn't label it as such. But it was there.
