How much employer study time is being given for this pretest? Our company does not have a set policy for this yet.

Are you saying you get 80 hours of paid study time for this? How much do you get for Course 5, 6, and 8?

We get 100 hours for the whole shebag, so it looks like 62 hours for the pretest. We also get the day of the pretest.
I'm glad you asked. I thought we got nothing for the pretest and have been agonizing about how to get this done reasonably. It gave me an occasion to reread our study policy.

six days, to allocate as we wish between pre-test and seminar study time. plus the days of the seminar itself.

Do you really need to study for the seminar? Is the pre-test preparation non enough?

Are you not sent additional study material (analysis methods) before the seminar that you need to learn? Also, one friend had mentioned that he wished he had reviewed more of the pre-test material before the seminar since he had purged most of it and was not up to speed for the seminar.

There is a bit of prework for the seminar. Not very difficult (any difficult material should get explained at the seminar), but time somewhat time consuming. I don't think it as important to have it done right as having something done.

Well, to be precise, we get 75 hours (37.5 work week). For 5, 6, and 8 we get 17 days each. Not exactly proportional, since those test have 3 or 4 times the material and they aren't open book. It's not the only thing about our policy that doesn't make much sense.
