The second ballot (http://www.soa.org/second_ballot03.html) for elections was published on the SOA website. Voting begins the week of July 7th.
Of note to this forum, all three candidates who made an appearance have advanced. All three were candidates for Vice President (alpha order):
Sam Cox
Tom Corcoran
Chris DesRochers
The first ballot no longer appears to be available for comparison, but it doesn't look like a whole lot of names were removed in the first round.

There 4 candidates for president now. I believe there were 5 on first ballot.
I don't remember how many ran for VP, but with 9 left I think well over 50% survived.
The Board candidate list was huge before. 16 remain. There might have been 50 before.

Question - I wasn't an FSA on the first ballot - but I am now (thanks to May FAC). Does that mean I can vote this summer?

I expect you'll be able to, but I'm not certain of it. You can certainly ask the Candidates questions here, which could be more interesting than voting.

Anyone able to correct my impression that the candidates with astericks beside them are the ones contributing to the forum here? Did I miss any?
