Ghost ID?

My thought is it would be useful for quick info on the top of a thread. (i.e. Start a thread using the new ID, with explicit instructions of what goes in post 1). This ID should not be posting opinions, only facts.

Who has been collected ..
Who is a sandwich player.
Who has asked to be collected.

Anything we want to keep track of.

Voting updates by students. Etc.

For example say I want a list of who has been collected (and sandwiched) or whatever.

I could start a thread with the ghost ID then people could update it as needed. The information would always be in the top of the thread and anyone could update it.

Would I be allowed to create a 'ghost forum' ID and share the password with the other ghosts?

For posting in the ghost forum only?

What would be the purpose of it?

Ahhh. I see. Ummm, sure, that is fine. That ID shouldn't post in the main thread, though. It would just confuse people. And I see the point, but I don't think it's entirely necessary, run it by the other ghosts to see if they like the idea.

I assume the sole (and non-trivial) benefit would be that we can each edit the first post to keep the updates current?
I can see the benefits but I'm not sure if it's worth the hassle of creating the ID and remembering to log into it whenever starting certain types of threads. If others buy into it, I'll go along with it and try to remember to use that ID when creating threads.
But i'm thinking the extra logging in/out will be more PITA than it's worth.

Agree with radio here...look how much trouble some of the alts have been having trying to remember to post under the alt and not normal ID...OK so only kidno realy but point made I think?

shakespeare's been the worst with it. kidno, skizzo, and I have also all slipped.
