This is the best, most competitive reality show going. Though I wish they would quit managing rail/bus/plane schedules to bunch everyone up every last episode.

TAR wails. I can already hear the host-guy saying, "A roadblock is a choice between two tasks, each with its own pros and cons..." No other show will get you yelling at your TV the way this one does when your favorite team makes a wrong turn or puts gasoline in a diesel tank.

Which one were you thinking of mole? I can't even think of a past one that is better.

I really wish that they wouldn't keep going over what a roadblock and a detour are, but last season's gasoline/diesel fiasco was hilarious.

Yeah, the diesel fiasco: especially Aaron (Arrianne's lesser half) bawling on the side of the road vs. the old guy (Terri's husband) going under the car and disconnecting the fuel hose and emptying the tank. Only thing missing was somebody throwing a cigarette butt out the window at the wrong moment.

I don't get the attraction to this show (neither did 270 million other people, I guess). I saw parts of the first season and most of the second. Basically, you get to the final episode where the mole is revealed, and they show you all the mole-y things he or she did, except that they're so subtle and inconsequential that you're really just watching people perform mildly challenging activites in mildly interesting places. (I have no tolerance for subtlelty in my shows!!!)

I am excited about TAR4. Also agree with everyone that the roadblock/detour speech is getting old. Kind of like Jeffy's line, "When the votes are read, the decision will be final and the person voted out will be asked to leave the tribe immediately."

I liked Celebrity Mole. It was funny, and shorter than the other moles which was a good thing. Celebrity survivor (aka "I'm a celebrity get me out of here") was a different story. :roll:

That's actually a producer in the demo shots showing what the packets consist of. They call them "demonstration hands". I also agree that the show doesn't need so much explanation.
