I'm just wrapping up FAP and am trying to plan out the next phase of this journey. For someone in retirement, what advice do you all have given PPA and all the new things its brought. I've looseley considered going down the financial economics track, but am uncertain.

If you finish CSP & DP (in retirement), and all the modules and things is that enough for an FSA, or since the retirement exam is shorter, do you need your EA first?

The EA exams are now a requirement for FSA under the Retirement Track.

From a professional standpoint, ASA and EA is likely all that is required to succeed in most places. The requirement for FSA will likely be company specific. By obtaining your EA, you will be legally able to perform any task necessary and can choose to stop taking exams as you wish (this might be good or bad depending on the person and the position).

I would suggest taking the EA exams next, as the FSA exams are much easier with more job experience, while experience (while helpful) is not quite AS helpful for the EA's.
