Does anyone out there know if this is the only planned Course 3 study note?

Is it common for the SOA to change the materials after publishing the catalog?

Here's the link to the new study note:

http://www.soa.org/eande/spring02_catalog/3-23-02.pdf

And the folks that wrote the Arch study guide have some commentary on the new study guide and the changes, available here:

whoops forgot to add my reply?

The Introductory Study Note (ISN) has not been published. The ISN contains the official list of reading materials required for each exam and is sent to all registrants.

Glenn -

Thanks for the info -- the ARCH info on that looks good!

Congrats to all the passers for C3 this time -- unfortunately I'm not with you!

I can't read this study note on my computer! It doesn't show all of it. Just a few things - it seems when it comes to a formula or expression, it doesn't put anything out from there and the rest of the page.

Any suggestions? Anywhere else to get this new note?

THANKS!

Try installing a new version of Adobe Acrobate Reader, http://www.adobe.com

Speaking of the Arch material, does anyone know if their manual is worth buying. How does it compare to the batten/london manual? Arch seems to "sell" their material well on the website. Any suggestions?
