How about FSA modules compared to FAP modules, is it more difficult than FAP modules?
If I take the DP exam prior FSA modules, is it a preferable order for completing all exams?

1. Yes. For example, the Financial Econ module exercise is much more difficult than any of the FAP module exercises.

2. Depends on your track. Check out the bottom of page 3: http://www.soa.org/files/pdf/edu-fsa-mod-faq.pdf But keep in mind that's only a recommendation; you can take them in any order you want.

I definitely spent more time on FE Exercise than any FAP exercise. I felt it was a tad more rewarding too (sounds cheesy, but once I finally "got" FE, I felt relief/excited/happy. I never really struggled with any FAP EOM Exercises, so I never got that "a ha" moment with them).

The FSA mods suck, the Reg mod was the worst with 750+ Pages. taking the FSA mods before the exams is a good idea. SOme of the books overlap, at least with DP.

Is 50hrs from start to EOM exercise submission still a decent estimate?

Depends on how much reading you actually do. If you're going to thoroughly read every single assigned page, 50 hours is probably light (unless you're a really fast reader and/or you blitz through the EOM exercise).

If you read some material, skim others, and skip parts that seem redundant (not that I would in any way advocate this ), 50 hours is probably a reasonable ballpark.

Do you grade yourself for the FSA modules? or it is like IA and FA from FAP, you actually have to submit your work and have someone grade it?

Yes...you grade yourself, except for the DMAC project.
