Does anybody know when the Fall 2008 Exam catalog and Study Note will be available?

As a study manual author we usually get the syllabus around the end of March or early April. It usually gets posted on the SOA website a few weeks later, so I would guess mid to late April.

I received a draft of the fall syllabus 2 weeks ago and have been working on the updates. I have them about half done. I will be on vacation next week but when I get back next week I will be working hard to finish up the remaining chapters. My goal is to have the manual to the printer by mid May so the manual will be to the bookstore by the first week in June if all goes well.

Once the syllabus is posted on the SOA site I will update the study schedule on my website (in fact I have it updated but can't post it yet).

The only changes are that the O'grady Individual insurance book was removed and the new Bluhm Individual insurance book was added (although it is about 8 chapters). Everything else is the same as last year.

I've had it ready to go for a while now, I forgot to post it now that the SOA has released the syllabus. I will post it this weekend.

I really like your study manual, and just ordered the 2008 DP New Edition today. It looks like that the study manual will not be shipped until June 15th. I know that you can pre-release portion of the study manual after people placing an order, would it be available by now?

By the way, will you hold seminars for the DP and/or CSP exams? If not, would you recommend some good seminars to me?
