hi everyone,

Does anyone know if the non-bolded sections in Mahler's sections are important for the actual exam? Is Pai's notes on Regression, time series and Survival any good??

From what Malher states at the beginning the italicized parts are not as important and can be skipped on first reading. The BOLD parts are the most important and you need to know these parts backwards and forwards. The rest falls into what one other student called the 20 out of 400 hours of study required to pass the exam. Most of it is not needed but it varies from exam to exam which part will be needed.
