I am studying for SOA C-6. At least I feel like I am doing something constructive even if it has no impact on the pending results for C-5.

Nothing to do but gear up for Annual Statement, get my semi-weekly laughs reading Andy Lang, and study for C6.

Perhaps your time would be better spent coming up with a screen name that hasn't already been taken.

Now I'm getting antsy for results. This is my first exam, so I'm a newbie at this waiting thing. But I think it stinks already because I'm a planner...I plan things out...and I have to wait before I can plan which exam I'm taking next. Oh the agony...only 8 more days.

I'm trying to study for C6 but am being distracted. Last month there was a scare with a close family member's health. Now I'm having a bit of a scare of my own. My life is not being threatened like the family member's could have been, but my life as I know it could be changed if the worst happens with me. So it's a bit tough to concentrate....
Thanks for letting me vent....

Hey Kook, are you the type of person to tell a joke and then not mention the punchline? Finish your story please, and have a point to it.

a close family member was diagnosed with cancer (and has since had surgery - prognosis is very good) and I have a vision problem that may not be fixable
