That sucked.

I agree. I felt like it was easier than Spring 07 (not by much though) but it was still hard finishing in 4 hours. Plus I didn't get to check my answers thoroughly so now the things I misread will come back and bite me!

Totally agree.

I flat guessed on 10+, and there were a couple more that I thought I knew what I was doing, and I didn't get any of the answers. Then there were a couple more that I could narrow it down to 2 or 3, and guessed from there... C'mon guessing strategy!!

Remember, we can't discuss details until 5:00 ET.

I thought it was harder than May '07 by a bit. I wish there was 15 more minutes b/c there were a couple I gave up on that I knew I could answer. I blind-guessed on 9 and I know I got some wrong out of the others.

Really? I disagree.

I felt like most the questions were pretty straightforward, more than Spring 07 at least. However, adding the stress of actually taking the exam, it easily matched Spring 07. So I see how you might think it was harder, If that makes sense. I'm a little fried...probably like everyone else.

I think I blind guessed about 7. Also, there were about 7 that I was unsure of but I got an answer. Argh! It's going to be nerve racking when I compare to the PAK.

harder than spring 07, 24 on first run through, 3-6 more on 2nd run through, guessed on the rest.

I thought it was harder than Spring '07 by a little bit, but Spring '07 will seem easier after a couple passes through. They're probably about the same. I flat guessed on 6. and I feel shaky on about 4 others. I'm sure there's a couple others I missed because of stupid stuff.

Hey everyone. Sorry I haven't been around to offer encouragement but now that the exam is over and I am posting again, hope everyone did alright.

I flat out guessed on 6. Had another 1 that I got an answer between two answers so I took the most logical and closest of the two. I am just hoping there weren't too many traps I didn't pick up on.

I thought this was easier than Spring 07 (statement will be edited based on results of pak, maybe I got all sorts of answers that were put there as tricks). I bombed spring 07 when I tried it. Not nearly as many tricky questions on this one. Guessed on 7 of them. I'd really like to see answers because I have no idea why two of the questions I worked on I couldn't get the answer. Oh well.

I must have reviewed just the right stuff, because there was only one I couldn't do. That's not to say I didn't make any stupid algebra or reading mistakes, but overall I thought it was appropriate and fair in terms of both length and content.

Not for Exam C...however Exam C has now evolved into a beast similar to the OLD Exam M which had pass-marks as low as 20.

26 7%

I will guess 24 then as the passmark based on very little evidence.

A lot of it is going to depend on the minimum percentage they want to pass. The effective for C has almost always translated to >= 50% EXCEPT for last Spring when it dipped into the low 40s. Had they wanted to keep the passing percentage consistent they would have dropped the passmark to probably around 22. And if this was significantly harder than Spring 2007 (which I think it definitely was)...well who knows?

I can't tell you what the pass-mark will be. I will guess that if that if it's 24 then the passing percentages will be very low for a traditional Exam C sitting.

But in the end it's just a blind guessing game for all of us.

Ok, much more general (I remembered a more detailed conversation last year about an FM problem--all the way down to the right answer, so I thought that might be ok). Did anyone else have an issue with the % question around 2/3?

That's crazy low.... Must of been a killer.

And I think the Spring 2004 Exam 2 had a passing mark that was below 50% and still only 25% of the people passed. They wanted to pass more but they just couldn't bring themselves to lower the pass-mark any lower than it was.

So there is precedent for a very low pass-mark. At the same time, I know nothing about what the Exam C committee is going to decide.

Look Spring 2007, was cake compared to this. I took that under strict "real" exam conditions and got a 31 even will a few silly mistakes. There were a few very straightforward questions on this one, but overall, definitely tougher than May.

I answered like 31-32 with decent confidence on 1st pass and blind guessed 7 and quasi-guessed 1.
