Hi, i definitely failed the may 08 sitting, and i was wondering what manual should i use. I already have the Actex Manual, do you guys think it is better to use Guo, ASM, or Mahler notes to prepare for the Nov 08 sitting. and me failing May 08 has nothing to do with me using Actex, just last semester in school got a little out of hand and i didn't get a chance to go through the whole manual. But i planned to start in July with going through Actex first, and going through a second manual. So in that case, which one would you guys think is best to use?
Sorry if i sound like i was rambling on n on hahaha...

I'd say get ASM b/c it would be tough to get through Mahler in a short time.

I don't know about ASM, but last time I used Guo's manual to get ready for FM, and I think it was good.

ASM is a chore, but if you use it you'll be ready.

Hi, i definitely failed the may 08 sitting,
Was the failure due to lack of knowledge or lack of time? If the former, continue to use what you have and spend more time on it. If the latter, I would advise finding something that'll provide you a lot of problems to work through, then spend more time on working through those.
If both, well . . .

Mostly lack of time and i went to SJU, that last semester just seem so much more work compare to even when i took 18 creds, those 12 creds were just nice

If finances are not a problem, I would recommend getting Mahler's material for just the problems. There are a lot of them, including several exam packets (each one comprising a half exam), so you can sort of mix and match to make lots and lots of exams to work through.
You might find reading through his material a good review as well.
