I dont know is there any way to open it a little and peak through without whatever is on the otherside noticing? If we cant do that I am fine with just busting through it :)
You could try that. It would require a stealth check so it might be best if one of the rogues did it but anybody is able to try.

Duriel moves the bark door aside and everyone sees that the corridor continues on out of sight ahead. It looks like a side corridor might be off to the left some twenty feet down but even with low light vision, the walls all seem to blend together so it is hard to be positive.

The ranger doesn't notice anything and is lucky enough to not step on the trap line running across the tunnel. Duriel also doesn't step on it but like the ranger, he also doesn't notice it. The paladin, well, he is not so lucky (I think he must need to be spending more time in prayer or something). A click is heard and you can see it in his face that he knew he made a miststep.
Everyone needs to roll 2 d20 as the area begins to fill with a cloud of gas. With the first, also give me your reflex defense. With the second, give me your will defense.

We may as well be ready to move when AS gets back. Let's go straight ahead. Time to kill goblins!
We also have to consider marching order. Whichever way we go, the other tunnel increases our risk of being attacked from behind. Should Duriel or I be near the back?
I can stay in the back since I do have the handaxes and I think its too much trouble to find out what attack bonus you would get from them is. Plus I think I have the best ability to take the shots from the back if we get attacked and you and siggy should be fine up front (assuming he didnt become retarded from the gas).
Plus I enjoy the view from the back

The ranger and dwarf sneak up to the door. The ranger peers around but doesn't see anything that might look like a trap of any sorts. He sees a hole in the door that he might be able to peer through. It is a little low for him though so he bends down to look through it, putting his hands against the door. His eyes widen in shock just as his hands slip and his head bangs against the door. He stands up quickly and motions that there are 6 goblins on the other side of the door. Just as quickly though, these two are seperated from the others as the door slides from where it was to block the corridor between them and the rest of the party.
Lloan and Gimli see three large goblins and three robed goblins ahead of them. The rest of the party sees the door. I need initiative rolls from everybody please.

Sir K takes this opportunity to remind people that they have action points, and can take an extra action on their turn, once per two encounters. :)How do we know how many action points we have? I see the words "Action Points" on my character sheet, but don't see any number.

I suppose I could take one, but I need a character sheet. Just pick one for me, please. Preferably the least complicated one.
We will just wait until Monday when everyone is around I think.

I hope that there are :troll:s in this game. And it would be advisable for the party to :pdftt:

Ok people. I am getting ready to head out. Anything anybody wants to say before I do so? I will not have internet access until around 10 ET and I don't know that I will be on at all tonight. I don't know about any time this weekend. I will try but no promises. Gives you something to look forward to on Monday I guess if I can't.
Just want to understand a bit more about this door. It's like several layers of bark?
I'm trying to get the sense of what sort of options ranged attackers or casters have to damage it.

Oh, all right. I was really wanting to kill some goblins today though. :( I guess I'll just wait.

You start the day with 1 and you earn another 1 for every 2 encounters but they reset to 1 after an extended rest.

Players start with 1 action point. They gain one action point per two encounters completed.
I think this is our 2nd encounter (unless the trap with no bad guys around was also an encounter), which means everyone will gain an action point after this encounter.
You can accumulate action points, but cannot use more than one per encounter. When the party rests for the night, everyone's action points reset to 1.

Excellent. There are some stones over there on the floor of the tunnel. Get them and start sling-shotting the goblins with some of the bras from your cart. :D
