Institute of Actuaries. ST6 and SA6

The british ST6 + SA6 = SOA investment track. I read the 2008 exam. Apparently it's shorter. Apparently the syllabus covers less material. Probably easier. Does anyone know the passing %? They don't release passing mark. ppl said that it should be 50%. What do you think, taking the bristish test or SOA?

I think SOA is easier. Many of my friends have taken the IOA(UK)'s SA exam more than 4 times.
