Hi,

Is it worth starting preparing now with the jam manual.
Havent got the manual yet. If I am not wrong there are around 700 pages in the manual itself let alone the prescribed reading material.
I am not sure if starting now is a good idea. Is it that the Jam manual can be treated as a standalone thing with that number of pages. and does having a shot with just jam and what ever reading that time permits makes sense.

Does the jam manual contain good number of exercises?

How are you guys prepraring. Are you doing the end of chapter exercises in the text books. Its good that no formula will have to be memorised.

This has been said before, but the JAM manual is an outline of the reading material. It's good to look at it and add your own notes while you read. After you've read the original readings, you can just study the manual you've edited.

You don't have to have the manual to start reading, though, just make sure you take your own notes until you receive it.

JAM has some practice questions at the end and suggests exercises from Hull.

Make sure you check the formula sheet while you read. Some formulas may not appear on the sheet, and those will have to be memorized. The ones that do appear usually aren't labeled, so you'll need to make mental notes of where to find them.
