I haven’t seen any posts about actuaries/actuarial students injured, killed or missing in Tuesday’s tragedy. Would it be appropriate to devote this topic to sharing information about our actuarial friends’ whereabouts? If you don’t feel it’s appropriate, my apologies in advance. We just won’t post to this topic.
I, in fact, have a friend I used to work with who last I heard was living/working in NYC, but I haven’t kept in touch with him in the last couple of years (shame on me). I can’t help but wonder if he’s alright. His name is Mourad Bentoume (sp?). Last I heard he was working at Mercer.
