Dear friends,
I am a man Living in China. Now I serve in an insurance company and conduct product pricing job. After three years working experience in pricing, I find that I am really interested in the finance area, and in my point of view, the finance knowledge is also very important to an actuary for his future career. I want to apply the master program of actuary in US. After some research of the American actuary master program, I have some questions. Where can I find the rank of the university in actuary science? I search everywhere and can not find the results. What is the characters of each university? Which university is good in the area of finance of actuary? I come here for some advices cause this forum is a professional forum, and it is sure that I can find my answer here. Besides, I list my basic information as follows:
1) I passed the first four courses in the old system of the soa
2) I majored in mathematic during the postgraduate study period
3) My paper " A risk analysis model in medical insurance area" was adopted by the 8th Asia Pacific risk and insurance annual
4) Three years working experience in insurance product pricing.
5) Through the hard working,Two of my supervisors give me high comments and agree to write the recommendation letter for me
6) My Gre grade is 1250; analysis: 800 and verbal 450
