APV?

I am out of time for the FETE, and want to start on the APV, since I have free time on my hand. The syllabus for APV isn't out yet,so what should be my strategy, I want to strat studying for the May exam, but don't know what to study since the syllabus has dramatically changed. Advice is appreciated.

Where did you learn that the syllabus changed dramatically? I didn't see any such announcement in SOA.org???
I want to study for APMV soon as well.

I would focus on three books Hull, Hardy and Fabozzi. Chances are they won't have changed those and even if they had it'll be the same material, just a different book.

I did this for FETE last year (started studying in January) and they changed the syllabus on me dramatically. Fortunately, much of the time I spent on Hull was not wasted.
