There is an iranian group called the mojahaden, or MKO which operates out of iraq against iran, with the blessing of many in congress and the support of saddam hussein. Their political agenda is marxist/islamic, and many in the house recognized them as a legitimate force that represents iranian hopes and aspirations. They've killed americans in terror attacks, they've killed hundreds of others in terror attacks, and I've never met an iranian who supports them. On the contrary, iranians seem to view them as fringe freaks, just as bad or worse than the ayatollah's crew. With all this talk against terrorism, I wonder what the current american stance on MKO is. I've talked to a couple people in the group, and they were brainwashed freaks, a la lyndon la rouche. The state department lists them as terrorists. It's kind of weird. Thoughts?
