Just currious what people thought the pass mark was after getting their scores. Also, can someone remind us who to email for our exams?

I expect the pass mark to be in the low 50's, very similar to last year, maybe a little higher.

I talked to Gloria yesterday and she doesn't have anything yet (exams, pass mark, etc.), but she'll start sending everything out as requested just as soon as she gets it.

Here's her email address to request your exam: Gloria.A.Walker@irs.gov

How do you know that it is 53?

I can't tell you, but it is a reliable source.
Check my comment in the "Exam Results" thread for some substantiation.

That's interesting because I thought that I would have gotten a higher score than I did based on 53 points being the pass mark.

It's too bad. I was hoping to get the minimum score. I think I cleared that by two or three points. I'll keep my fingers crossed though.

Does that mean that you don't know yet if you passed? If so, then you should definitely check the web site right away because passing names are up. You probably don't want your coworkers to know if you passed or not before you do.

No, I passed with a 6, and knowing that I was hoping that I got the absolute minimum. I was only kidding though. I realize I should just be grateful that I passed as this test was a bi***.

Um, not a very funny joke.

I just received a copy of my EA-2B exam and it notes that the

Pass Score = 55%.

Interesting. I wonder what Slam's reliable source has to say about that.

Don't know yet. I was on vacation last week.

A raw score of 53 could translate to a passing percentage of 55% if a 4-point question was thrown out.

No questions were thrown out according to the answer key.
