tough choice, right now the republicans sound pretty desperate but that may be because it's happening now.

It's not contest, really. The Bush/Cheney/Texas thing was valid but kind of silly to pursue. The Obama was born in Kenya thing is pathetic and sad and really is desperate because of the state of McCain's campaign. Gore was never this desperate with the polls being pretty even.

You'd have to be pretty far in the tank to say that one of these is valid and the other is pathetic. My impression is that they both have about the same validity value, and about the same silliness to pursue.
