Exam reimbursement question

Do Indian employers reimburse for SOA exams? Do you get study time and exam raises if you appear for SOA exams?

I think people usually appear for IOA and ASI exams in India. I have couple of SOA exams (probably 3) and planning to move back to India in 2009.

I am currently not employed in actuarial field but I do not know any employer in India who reimburse for SOA exams. My advice is that you should assume that nobody reimburse for SOA. You can certainly get study time & raise for SOA exams but keep in mind that any company operating in India prefer IAI or IOA exams.
