Actuarial exams could be gruelling. Not all people are really that lucky or smart enough to pass all actuarial exams in first attempt.
Some people might give up half-way and pursue other professions because of losing interest on actuarial science due to retaking the same exam over and over again.
Is there a maximum number of attempts you set for yourself before you think of switching profession?

How many times did Brute (Bruté?) take Exam M before calling it quits? I think it was 6?

Not sure if it is infinity. It is definitely more than 6 though because been there, done that.

I was going to say 8 or 9. And most if not all of the sittings he got a 5.
Also, don't forget FourSix Time Course Four Loser (now Course Four Escapee)
I only failed Course Four three times before they got rid of it. Managed to pass Exam C on my first try.
