Multi-Decrement Models - Constant Force

I was told today by one of my profs that constant force of mortality in multi decrement situations will NOT be tested on the upcoming MLC exam as it was removed from the sylabus. I browsed through the sylabus on the SOA site and couldn't really find anything saying one way or another.

Has anyone else heard this?

Seems strange as 90% of practice problems use constant force.

What your professor meant was that you would not be expected to go from multi-decrement probabilities to rates under the assumption of constant force. You only need to know how to make the translation under uniform distribution of deaths either in the single-decrement tables or the multi-decrement tables.

Your practice problems either were not multi-decrement or did not deal with this specific situation.
