I have been looking for an entry-level actuarial positon for a long time. I have not got any good luck yet since I need sponsorship.

I have passed three actuarial exams and I am going to sit for another one in Nov, 2003. I have a Master degree in statistics and solid knowledge of economics. I have a strong background in linear modeling and GLM which is widely used in P/C. I am very interested in P/C area because I can put my knowledge to best use.

It is very difficult to find an employer to sponsor me at this time. But remember, at this time, I can use my OPT for one year to work for you. After one year, I can pass some more exams and accumulate one year working experience. By that time, I believe you will be sure that I am worth your sponsoring.
