I just started reading the material and am half way through the first study note. Exam is on October 3. Should I even bother? Am I too far behind? For any other exam this is a lost cause. Please tell me oh dear fellow exam takers.

I started one month before the pre-test, and studied around 60 hours. Oh, and passed.

You've got enough time. Just focus on tabbing/highlighting everything and do a bunch of practice exams (or at least just quiz yourself on looking things up quickly). I put maybe 50-65 hours in over a month and a half and passed (rather easily I feel).

you have PLENTY of time.
The above posters studied much harder than I did (good for y'all!)
I got about 35 hrs in, basically all of which in the 2 weeks before the exam, and passed.

You've got time. One thing though: even if you KNOW
the answer to a question, still leaf through the study notes
to find the exact spot with exact wording of that answer.
Sample exams are big exercises in leafing through and looking
up answers. Good luck!
