I am sending in my application for Exam 1 this afternoon for the November 6 sitting.

I have had 5 years of college, including getting a BS in mathematics. I've taken Calculus 1, 2, 3 Differential Equations, Solid State Physics, Modern Chemistry, a class in cooking, Electromagnetic Thoery, as well as an Exam 1 Prep seminar. I have actually tutored these topics over the past and have in fact passed the course 1 exam 3 times already.

I never failed this exam yet, and would care not to in the future.

Can you make some recommendations for study? I have all my old practice manuals and textbooks.

I've calculated that I can put in about 2,000 hours of study before November 6, barring any emergency situations.

Books, study guides, studying routines and strategies would all be appreciated. I want to kick this test's ass again to continue to boost my confidence... so I will put in maximum effort. Your thoughts?

There's not enough time. Give up on this sitting and wait 2 or 3 more years until you are better prepared.

What are you taking the course for again?

LVBIII told me he didn't think I was fit to attempt Course 2 yet.
I'm honing up on my skills until he says it's okay to proceed, dawg.

You might be better off getting a masters degree in actuarial science before you attempt any more exams.

Get in line. Based on the 473 PMs I received last month, you're 287th on the list.
