SMBIII easily in this case. ZII was good, but not good enough to put up a fight imo.

I can't even count how many times I've played through SMB3. Tanooki suit, ftw.

I had to pick ZII. It's my favorite "underdog" NES game, and SMB3 simply had way too much hype.

I still remember the first time I found the hammer in ZII. That was such a relief. Navigating those caves finally could end.
