It turns out that Meta Ridley wasn't in Super Metroid. For some reason I thought it was. Maybe because Ridley in Super Metroid was a lot harder than Ridley in the original, so in my memory I upgraded the name as well.

Wii now has a virtual console? How does that work? You move the wand to make a virtual hand turn on the virtual console?

No that's just what it's called. It lets you download and play games from NES, SNES, N64, Genesis, and a couple other consoles and play them on your Wii. It's not all of the games but they have a pretty good selection.
