This Australian band took its leftist politics to platinum-selling status, largely on the strength of single Beds Are Burning. Band leader Peter Garrett is now a member of the Australian Parliament, toning down some of his political extremes to fit in the Labour party.

love both of these bands.

Didn't recognize the name for some reason, but I really like Beds are Burning and always have. One vote for the Aussies here.

This is the toughest matchup in the first round IMO, I really like both these songs, but the Midnight Oil one is one of my alltime favorites.

So many matchups with crappy songs, and then this one...

"Beds are burning" is just more unique.

This was a matchup where I really needed to listen to the songs. If I was relying on my memory, I probably would have picked Midnight Oil. Their song has the best chorus, but overall, I prefer Under the Milky Way.
