I have heard Schweser is not as good for level III, I have completely relied on Schweser for I and II. I found it really good.

Are there people who put reasonable amount of time (not months) studied from Schweser and passed.

I used Schweser for all levels and it was enough for me. I would recommend, especially if it helped you through levels 1 & 2.

I'll qualify that slightly by saying that I also did CFAI practice / sample exams, since they were representative of the actual exam.

Thanks. Did you touch the CFAI curriculum books at all? or just Schweser?

Did not open CFAI curriculum books, just Schweser and CFAI practice/sample exams.

I started in mid-March 2009 and passed LIII using only Schweser for about 80%. The CFAI readings are useful for ethics, IPS, and end-of-chapter questions. I didn't take any practice exams beforehand, although that was a mistake that I fortunately survived.

That's my plan. It worked for I and II, and I went away from it last year for some *stupid* reason.

Qbank, end of chapter, and practice exams this time.
