Hoping someone can help me out a bit. I have the requirements for CERA, having done all the exams and APC, and was wondering what the timescale of the process is for receiving confirmation etc. i.e. when do they
Post names of new CERA's at SOA.org?
Send out certification docs?
Do I need to travel somewhere to go to a presentation (for want of a better word?
Anything else I may have forgotten?
Thx

I think they post names of new ASAs/CERAs once a month.
It takes some time after that before one gets paper certificates showing same.
No presentations are involved at ASA level.

That makes no sense. No matter if January had 28 days or 31 days or any number in between, the last Friday of January would still be the upcoming one - which is January 26th.
Save your damnation for important things, like jinxing the Colts for ending the season for NYers.

:-?
If January had 28 days, the last Friday of the month would have been last Friday, the 22. The 26th is tomorrow - a Tuesday.

Thanks Weirdo...sorry to Hachover that I was not clear enough...I did not actually put an upper bound on the number of days and was thinking of Feb.

Of course, you're completely right. Mea culpa. I really should have gotten myself a 2010 Calendar instead of buying one at a second-hand shop.

Haha, you can probably get a 2010 calendar with the right dates for half-off now. :)
Three more days!

Don't say that...that is less than he paid for the second hand one earlier in the year.

True, but with this particular calendar it seems like I have a real social life. You should see it - everyone who does is really impressed that I can keep it up AND pass exams
