Has anyone received their confirmation letter/candidate #? I signed up in mid January and still have not received anything.

I read somewhere in the part 8 forum that they weren't going to send letters until they send information about testing centers 4 weeks before the exam.

I spoke with someone from the CAS office recently about this. They will only send out 1 confirmation letter with your candidate number at the end of march once the registration deadline has passed.

fwiw, I think this is a bad idea because i'm always paranoid that i messed something up and for some reason they didn't recieve my registration information. But not finding out until after the deadline to register just messes with my head!!!

I was for 9 last year too when I didn't receive a confirmation until October. I suppose you can always e-mail the CAS to be sure.

I spoke to someone on the phone who told me i was registered for the correct exam in the correct city. but until i have that piece of paper in my hand, there's still some doubt in my head.

the people who could get shut out over a mishap are the people who don't have a credit card record, or a confirmation email.

so if anyone still snail-mails it, that would be problematic if it was lost. the others are workable.
