Of course I'm looking forward to Penn State-Bama, even if I have this sneaking suspicion that Penn State is going to suck like a middle-of-the-pack Big Ten team..

Since I hate just about all of those teams, I'll go with which game I think will be the best: Miami-OSU

Vegas agrees! UA is 11-12 pt favorites. I'd give the points.

They'll totally outclass us. Not expecting them to run up the score much but 20-24 pt victory sounds about right to me.

Go Lions, but my head says 'Bama 27 Penn State 7

Penn State needs Ditka.

I think that Bama's inexperience in the secondary could be exposed mildly in this game, allowing PSU to move the ball sporadically. Could be a close game at the half, maybe 17 - 10.

2nd half, some adjustments, game gets out of hand... final score 37 - 16 Bama.

Tons of rushing yards for Bama.

:iatp: Though I'm gonna say 6 for PSU instead of 7. Wagner looked great last week, and unless they capitalize on a Bama error, PSU won't be able to drive the ball the length of the field. The line couldn't push around YSU, how are they gonna handle Bama?

I'm most looking forward to the U @ OSU followed closely by FSU @ OU. I'll be doing my best to stay away from the hypefest that is ND/Mich.

This sounds about right. I think tOSU-Miami will be a better game.

Very interested in FSU vs Oklahoma. New coach for FSU, strong offenses for both teams, should be fun to watch.

Since I'm a Gator fan, I'll be watching Florida vs USF as well, hoping that the Gators will have gotten their stuff together this week and that they'll easily cover the 15-point spread. I'm hoping for a non exciting game here :)

Absolutely brutal loss for Marshall against WVU... Up 15 with the ball inside WV's 5 midway through the 4th quarter. Fumble and then two 95+ yard TD drives for WVU sends it to overtime where they win by a FG.

Guess I gave the PSU offense too much credit.

I watched this game in person. I think PSU has a pretty good QB in Bolden. They moved the ball reasonably well, but gave the ball away too many times.

Most of the game, it felt like Alabama could name its score and chose to take the foot off the pedal to not embarass Paterno.

I think Heisman Trophy Winner Mark Ingram's return from injury next week officially makes this offense ridiculous. The offensive line is imposing its will on everyone. McElroy is making good throws and better decisions. Offense is very multiple, and very effective in wide variation of formations/personnel groupings.

ACC teams had a good week....Fixed your post for you. The ACC, itself, doesn't field a team. Pet peeve of mine.

True, but the whole conference will suffer because of this weekend. This weekend probably ruined any chance of the conference getting 2 teams in the BCS.

I saw this at least twice this weekend, players running into the endzone basically uncontested, but they dropped the ball out of their hands as they ran in. Upon further review, it is extremely obvious that they let go of the ball before the ball broke the plan of the goal. When will the booth official decide to call this and disallow the touchdown?

I also saw one player that did a somersault going into the endzone. While it looked like he might have 'unintentionally' done it, when they showed the replay, there was no reason that he 'needed' to do the somersault because of a hit or to avoid a hit. He could have just as easily run in on his feet. Should that be reviewed as well?
