...for unlocking the mystery!

When you communicate effectively...you get your sexual needs met.

Holy cow! This module (and the textbooks) is painful to read! I can't believe the SOA is making me wade through this cesspool of corporate BS. “Cycle of hope and improvement?” Give me a break! :swear:

Were the books updated for DMAC 2.0? I'm trying to get the books from my company's library and they don't have them.

Anyone start working on the project?

Yes, there are different books for 2.0 than there were for 1.0.

And BTW, I think DMAC 2.0 is a big improvement. But maybe there are people out there who were more fond of the Minto stuff and would disagree with me.

This may or may not have been in the old DMAC...

...but Section 7 serves as one big advertisement to "more resources" on Decision Making and Communication. :exams:

Does the new DMAC still have the gopher in glasses? If it does, you'll know what I'm talking about...that was my favorite part. :)

If it does...then I'm oblivious

So, does the new DMAC still require the candidate to come up with a "project" or does everyone basically do the same thing?

You have to come up with a project...which is the most frustrating part to me. Everything I have experience with is something that I'm 95% sure the SOA would say "doesn't qualify for DMAC project." They give like 5 examples, but I don't think you are allowed to "make up" a project based on those examples.

Figuring out what I want to write about is gonna make me go nuts...

I, like most people, also struggled with the what to write question. In the end, I chose a project that our entire team worked on implementing that would be an improvement to the enterprise. I made this a decision processing by 'making up' and alternative way of creating the same benefits and discussed the pros/cons of the two options. I did do DMAC 1.0 though, but I think the same issue of choosing a topic applies.

Good luck all!
